While searching for birds to photograph I chanced across these berry blossoms in the field. I’m not positive if they are blackberry or raspberry, although I lean a bit toward blackberry given how much they resemble my own at home. But regardless, I grabbed a couple of photos in the morning light.
Berry blossoms aren’t flashy like other flowers; their color is subtle, a blush of pink around the petal fringes, and it fades seemingly within hours of opening, leaving the flowers with just white for the remainder of their time.
So capturing the blossoms while the still retained their pink hue was a treat!
