Irving Cliff has been on my “to visit” list since I learned of it last year, and the combination of a lovely autumn afternoon and setting sun aligned last week while I was already out at Promised Land, a mere 20 minutes away. And Irving Cliff didn’t disappoint! It’s a great vantage point looking down on the town and the Lackawaxen River, flooded with golden back lighting as the sun sank towards the mountains.
Of course, it was a natural scene for a panorama – the first I’ve taken in a while for some reason, despite having an affinity for them.
While autumn may seem the ideal season for this vista, I think with the right lighting, any season would be worth the trip, and I hope to make it out that way again!
